Diving in Egypt

One of the main attractions is scuba diving in the crystal blue warm waters of the Red Sea, Sharm el Sheikh took off as a diving location in the early 1980's and boasts some of the world's most spectacular coral reefs and marine life, of which some are quite unique.

For experienced and certified divers, excursions are available to Sharm El-Sheikh's best-known dive sites.

These can be booked locally through one of the many local dive centers.

There is also many shallow water reefs around Sharm's bays for superb snorkeling.
